Countless hours of preparation from the Apparel Design and Technology students finally came into completion March 24th at the Annual Purdue Fashion Show. Family, friends, alumni, and guests gathered in the Shively Club at the Ross Ade Stadium to enjoy the show. Student designers were a bundle of emotions as this long awaited day was finally here. Models hung out backstage dressed and styled with careful attention given from each designer. Each model walked confidently and posed on cue down the lengthy runway to exhibit the designs from each of the designers. The successful runway show displayed all the knowledge and was a celebration of all the hard work and accomplishments of the Apparel Design and Technology students.
As a junior in AD&T, I designed and made three runway looks. Prior to the show, we went to Purdue’s Horticulture Park and took some photos to include in my portfolio. Here’s a couple of my favorite shots.
