A big congratulations goes out to Alysha Kupferer and her brother, Tyler for their film “The Girl and the Fox.” Alysha is a recent HHS alumni who graduated with a degree in Apparel Design and Technology. “The Girl and the Fox” is a dramatic short about a nine-year-old girl who must track a mysterious fox through a foreboding wilderness. The film was directed by Tyler J. Kupferer and produced with support from the Savannah College of Art and Design. It has been recognized by some of the most notable honors in student filmmaking and animation, including the Student Academy Awards, College Television Awards, ASIFA-Hollywood Annie Awards and ASIFA-East Awards. It has gained attention for its unique style of digital “contourless” hand-drawn animation combined with painted environments and crisp, natural sound design.
