This past Friday night I went to my first Starry Night Festival with two of my roommates. It’s an annual festival put on by the Campus House Church and Greyhouse Coffee Shop. It was pouring down rain just an hour before hand, but luckily it cleared up just in time. At the festival there was free popcorn, jewelry booths, volunteer booths, and awesome musicians. Also, there were a bunch of booths from local artists. They blocked off the end of the street with a stage and strung lights all across the street. The headliner band, The Paper Route, played for about half an hour and were fantastic! I didn’t have a chance to see the other bands, but I heard they were just as good. It was the 10th annual festival, and filled with a packed crowd the entire time. It was a great way to unwind from a super stressful week and see friends that I haven’t all year. A perfect fall night.
