After being gone last fall for Study Abroad, I was so excited to go to a football game again. Everywhere around the football stadium turns into one big tailgate with tents everywhere. It’s fun to see everyone cooking out and the really dedicated fans with their satellite dishes and big screen TVs. There is such a sense of community and bonding over this one sport and everyone is always super friendly. I love the excitement before the game in the student section when all the players are warming up and then the general roar of the fans for the first kickoff. It has been really cool going to a Big 10 university where sports are such a part of the college experience. I have definitely enjoyed going to Ross-Ade Stadium and it wouldn’t seem like fall without some Boilermaker football.
