It’s hard to believe that summer is almost over, but fortunately that means another great school year at Purdue is about to begin! Even though I’ll be a sophomore this year, getting ready for college really is no easier than it was last year as a freshman. There are so many things to do, such as making last minute appointments and shopping for back to school items—my favorite part of the prospective new year!
Coming home this summer made me realize how much Purdue has already impacted my life. I can’t wait to see my friends that I haven’t seen since May, and commence my new courses that, believe it or not, I’m eager to attend. Even the amazing food courts I have missed—although I’m sure I will also miss my mom’s cooking at some point too. I always find the end of a summer somewhatbitter sweet, but this year it has been more sweet than bitter, knowing the great times I am about to embark on. Now, I just need to start the dreadful packing process… So far so good!
