If you are looking for a great hands on experience that deals with preparing food, sanitation standards, and front of the house service, then Hospitality and Tourism Management is the major for you! I am currently in the 291 required lab where you are rotated through front of the house, back of the house, and the Boiler Bistro. It has been such a great experience to be able to stand in the shoes of chefs and servers. Working side by side with chefs who are so passionate about what they do is simply amazing. I have included two pictures from the classroom portion of this lab. It is clear to see that it is definitely a perk to be in this class when you get to taste several different types of cheese!
