It’s hard to believe that summer is winding down and that classes are already here! For the first time ever, I decided to stay on campus and take a summer class instead of going home. It was a bit of an adjustment at first, but in the end I’m really glad I did and would recommend summer classes to anyone. While the class moves much faster and there is a lot of work to do, only having one class to focus on made learning the material much easier.
Between school and work I didn’t have a lot of free time, but did manage to have some summer fun. There were many visits from friends and trips home to see my family. We spent many weekends at Lake Michigan soaking up the sun or shopping and even made it to King’s Island for a day.
After spending the summer on campus I can’t wait to be reunited with roommates, friends, and see Purdue come back alive with thousands of students! Boiler up!
