So excited to have received my official internship job offer for the summer of 2015! Not sure where I’ll be living this time, but I’m accepting anyway. This last summer I interned with Bechtel, an engineering and construction company, at their Pueblo, CO site. This site is one of two of the US’ chemical weapon demilitarization sites. I worked as an industrial psychologist with their quality and human performance teams. It was a really great experience professionally and I definitely have a clearer idea what I want to do after graduation. I also was able to hone my professional skills and do some serious networking. I have the possibility of working at sites in Washington state, Washington, DC, Houston, Kentucky, and more. I’m excited with the prospect of being even more prepared to do my job this upcoming summer, as well as continue training in Six Sigma and Lean.
