One of the things I love about Purdue is that they offer you experience in the field you want to go into. One of the courses that I am taking is a research course for my public health major. For this course I had to create a survey on something that I was interested in and distribute it. My survey was over changing unhealthy behaviors in college students through health coaching. On my survey I asked a series of questions about different unhealthy behaviors that college students partake in and their willingness to change those behaviors. Once I collected my data from those who took my survey I had to create a presentation for it. In the future when I am in the workforce I will be able to rely on this skill set to further my career.
